A meadow is chosen for privacy, where lots of wildflowers will naturally be found.
People still decorate the maypole with flowers and birch leaves,
and sing and dance around it wearing garlands in their hair.

Midsummer is associated with magic and fertility rites. The Midsummer maypole, a fertility symbol used to “impregnate” Mother Nature, was meant to bring a good autumn harvest.

There are communal celebrations with residents from neighboring summerhouses. People wear garlands in their hair and  dance strange dances and sing songs in a language that may or not be understood. This, combined with a night that doesn’t really get dark, is a unique experience.

On Midsummer Eve, young girls continue to pick seven (sometimes nine) types of flower to place under their pillows when they go to sleep in the belief that they will dream of their future love.

People will be outside as much as the weather permits – only severe storms will deter open-air Midsummer celebrations and outdoor dining. A typical Midsummer meal consists of different kinds of herring served with sour cream, chives and fresh potatoes, with schnapps and drinking songs to wash the food down, and fresh strawberries.

On Midsummer, which lasts several days……from now, 21st thru 24th…..call to all the flower faeries to come visit you in your dreams to reveal your beloved to you…this is an idea of how to work with the angelic devas or head angels of each plant. The faeries only come to those who know how to communicate with them….so, if you have any findhorn books, you can see…or Machaelle Smallwright, of Perelandra…whose gardens in Warrenton, Virginia, house nature intelligences….(faeries)…they even have a white fenced area in the woods where they have their *office*…..I was the lucky visitor, who brushed invisibly with their ticklish love making as i was walking through her woods one autumn day maybe twenty so odd years ago. So, yes, these sources can bring you lots of pleasurable info on how to properly and respectfully call to the faeries…..here is one I use…….for midsummer………..xoxoxo Love, Libby

Since the late seventies, I have made mandalas, out of cut paper, and done some language on them in ancient runes…..sending a message that the plant kingdom can recognize since it is all in sigils…….and universal symbols. I will bring my love messages to the woodlands, and meadows, and set up a lovely altar of appreciation to honour the plants that assist me as a perfumer and aromatherapist….I call on them daily, 24/7 and it is nice to thank them…..for all they do.

OK….so, as usual…….here is how I begin….I will take a ritual simple ten min aromatherapy bath, laced with a couple of essential oils of which call to me for that moment: today I am drawn to these:

Melissa, 4 drops
Lavendar: 6 drops
Cypress: 3 drops
Lime: 4 drops
Litsea Cubeba: 2 drops
Patchouli: 1 drop
Palmarosa: 4 drops
Rose Bulgarian: 4 drops
Mandarin: 3 drops
Blood Orange: 4 drops
Sweet Orange: 4 drops
Thyme: 1 drop
Clary Sage: 2 drops
Frankincense: 3 drops
Myrrh: 2 drops
Drop all of these into a hot bath, as it is filling, swirl with your toe….as you step into the bath, while filling……when you lay down into the bath, make sure to splash waters over your whole body….molecularizing the essences into yoru etheric field. OH…yes, you do…xxoox This is a ten minute romp, followed by a 20 minute meditation to the solfeggio 528 music of your choice.

Solfeggio 528 Music for MidSummer

These original sound frequencies were apparently used in Ancient Gregorian Chants, such as the great hymn to St. John the Baptist, along with others that church authorities say were lost centuries ago. The chants and their special tones were believed to impart tremendous spiritual blessings when sung in harmony during religious masses. These powerful frequencies were rediscovered by Dr. Joseph Puleo as described in the book Healing Codes for the Biological Apocalypse by Dr. Leonard Horowitz. I give honor to both of these gentleman for the part they’ve played in helping return these lost frequencies back to humanity.

The Six Solfeggio Frequencies include:
UT 396 Hz Liberating Guilt and Fear
RE 417 Hz Undoing Situations and Facilitating Change
MI 528 Hz Transformation and Miracles (DNA Repair)
FA 639 Hz Connecting/Relationships
SOL 741 Hz Awakening Intuition
LA 852 Hz Returning to Spiritual Order

For example, the third note, frequency 528, relates to the note MI on the scale and derives from the phrase “MI-ra gestorum” in Latin meaning “miracle.” Stunningly, this is the exact frequency used by genetic biochemists to repair broken DNA the genetic blueprint upon which life is based!

Before getting dressed……but after bath and meditation…….annoint pulse points: under breasts, on wrists, carotid artery, behind knees, and along the inner upper thigh corridor….for best results….

Now you may dress, in something festive…..to ready for your flower collecting mission….

Imagine….a place where you can find some wildflowers……and start to have a delicious dream of the man you will marry……as you wander, picking flowers…….remember to call in all your angels and the flower faeries, as your walk continues….bless………xoxoxo

Now you may weave all of these flowers into a head piece to wear……for a party, and or place them under your pillow for the night……

It’s even fun to do a midsummer party with some girlfriends who are also single.
As you can see, there is no wrong way to celebrate midsummer…..which is at the zenith point of the year, hence the name for the LPO ZENITH PARFUM designed to honour the now moment……

I hope that you will email, if you would like to purchase some ZENITH PARFUM, or for more anecdotal stories, stay tuned….I will have more fun rituals for you to celebrate. AND please send in your pictures, to my facebook page…of the wreaths you make. I would love to see your genius creativity. Many blessings, Love Libby
